Here is a recent press release I prepared announcing the Kawasaki Race of Champions at Raceway Park. It was published on several motocross and local media sites.
ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. – The motocross track at Old Bridge Township’s Raceway Park will once again host the Kawasaki Race of Champions this weekend. This year the facility celebrates the thirty-ninth annual edition with racing action taking place on both Saturday and Sunday.
Originally sponsored by the local Forsgate Country Club, motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki became a sponsor a couple of years later and had remained true for the last thirty-plus years. The Kawasaki Race of Champions, known in the industry as KROC has been the site of many great battles and exciting action, and the 2015 event will be no exception. Many of the greatest riders in the sport of motocross, including the likes of Ricky Carmichael, Jeff Emig, James Stewart, and Ryan Villopoto, have turned laps at KROC.
The 2015 event begins on Friday, October 2, and continues through Sunday afternoon with a complete schedule of motocross racing action.

“We’re looking forward to a tremendous weekend of racing,” said Raceway Park Motocross track manager Rich Trevelise. “I’ve been here for all of the KROCs since the beginning, and the level of competition and track conditions this year will be among the best I’ve ever seen.
“Our staff has been working hard to make not only the racing portion of the weekend a success but the overall atmosphere as well. A whip and wheelie contest on Friday, live music Saturday, and Monster Energy Kawasaki racer Wil Hahn will be here on Sunday meeting the fans. All of these things add to the fun, not to mention all of the great vendors and sponsors signed up to help with the event. Our great local dealer sponsors—Mt. Holly Kawasaki, Pompton Sports Center, Town & Country Cycle Center, and Toms River Kawasaki—have combined to give away four brand new Kawasaki motorcycles as part of Sunday’s special events. Two thousand fifteen will certainly go down as one of the best KROC events.”
