I took the opportunity last weekend to shoot a different type of racing. This time instead of dirt bikes or quads it was time for high speed powerboat in the ocean. It was actually a last minute thing to bring my camera. Originally we were just going to check out the racing, but a quick battery charge and a couple of lenses later we were on the point pleasant jetty waiting for the boats to hit the open water of the Atlantic.
Not bad for my first time. The light was rough with a grey sky and a grey ocean but there are a couple in the gallery that are pretty good.
