I’ve been shooting photos at the AMA Nationals since 2005 and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to professionally shoot races at Unadilla, Budd’s Creek, Southwick, Red Bud, Steel City and Pala. But never High Point. You would think that since it’s only 6 hours away I would have made the trip to the fabled track, but alas I never way. That was until last weekend.
On Friday morning I set off from my home in New Jersey and headed West to High Point. The images in the link below are the result of the trip. A small sample of images from press day on Friday as well as a bunch from Saturday’s racing.
As always the images are in alphabetical order by the riders “last name” with all holeshot pictures labeled as “start” and several “track” photos of the tower and signs, including a couple of the final checkered flag of the weekend.
All images on Lukaitis Photo are keyworded by the last name of the rider and have been since we began in 2005. By searching the site, you will be able to find all images ever taken under that keyword.
