Welcome to The Power of ONE – your weekly dose of inspiration and impact! Imagine this: every day, amidst the multitude of choices we make, there’s that ONE decision that has the potential to transform our lives. It could be as simple as getting out of bed or taking a different route to work. The magic lies in the unpredictability of when that ONE moment will occur.
I wholeheartedly embrace this belief. The right person, armed with the right words or actions, can create a ripple effect that alters the course of your life forever. The challenge lies in not knowing which choice will be the game-changer. But fear not, because each week, I’ll be sharing something meaningful, something that might just resonate with you, bring a smile to your face, and make a genuine difference.
If you discover value in these insights, don’t keep them to yourself. Share them with others and encourage them to do the same. Together, we can unlock the true Power of One and embark on a journey of collective inspiration and transformation.
“The purpose of life is to contribute in some way to making things better.” – Robert F. Kennedy
Many people know Stephen Covey’s book, The 7 Habits of Highly Influential People. The book is over 30 years old, but the basic principles remain true. This week, I’d like to mention the theory about the circle of influence and the circle of concern. In a nutshell, you can only effect change on items in your circle of influence, and that is where you should focus your time and energy. Doing so will make you more productive and in a better mental state because of it. Learn more HERE – https://resources.franklincovey.com/the-7-habits-of-highly-effective-people/circle-of-influence
Next time you are in Las Vegas and looking for some great Mexican food, give El Segundo Sol a shot. The Guac is great! I stumbled across this place several years ago when I was on town for SEMA and I make it a point to stop each time I’m in Sin City.
I’m looking forward to checking this Netflix series out.
