National Powersport Auctions Expands Atlanta Live Auction to Twice a Month Starting in August
National Powersport Auctions (NPA), the leader in powersports remarketing and auction services, is excited to announce a second live auction every month at the NPA Atlanta facility, beginning August 2024. The traditional auction will continue the third Friday of every month.
NPA Atlanta is the most recent location to expand to two live auctions a month. NPA Dallas and NPA Cincinnati have been hosting live auctions twice a month for over a year. Now dealers and lenders that utilize the NPA Atlanta location can take advantage of the additional live auction each month.
“As our dealer and lender needs adjust, we are here to support them,” stated Ryan Keefe, NPA Vice President of Marketing. “By offering a second live auction every month in Atlanta, our clients can buy and sell twice as often resulting in quicker inventory turns and reinvestment in capital.”
The new auction schedule will kick off on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 8:00 am EST, followed by the next Atlanta auction held on Friday, August 16, 2024. Dealers and clients can easily access the auctions through the NPA Dealer Marketplace app or website. Additionally, a live preview day will be available the day before each auction, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time, allowing for thorough inspection of the units.
This expansion highlights NPA’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the powersports market and providing unparalleled service to its clients. By increasing the frequency of auctions, clients can look forward to a wider selection of units and more opportunities to participate in these highly anticipated events.
Upcoming Atlanta Auction Dates:
Aug. 2nd – Start time 8 am EST
Aug. 16th – Start time 8 am EST
Sept. 6th – Start time 8 am EST
Sept. 20th – Start time 8 am EST

Take to the Street with an A2 Licence – Triumph Launch A2 Compliant Street Triple 765 R
Triumph Motorcycles is launching a new variant of its agile Street Triple 765 R with a revised power output, specifically for new and younger riders with an A2 licence.
Identical in every other way to the current Street Triple 765 R, with its Moto2TM derived performance and handling, this A2 compliant variant has a revised 765cc triple engine with a lower 70 kW power output, and an accessory restrictor kit can be fitted to reduce the power output to 35 kW, meeting A2 licence requirements. Once the rider has gained their full ‘A’ licence, the restrictor kit can be easily removed by a Triumph dealer to restore the bike to its unrestricted 70kW power.
“There are many new riders who cannot wait to jump on a naked sports bike with an aggressive attitude and high specification components. And now they don’t need to wait,” said Triumph’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud. “This Street Triple 765 R variant is a welcome addition to our A2 compliant range, bringing performance, style and precise handling, as well as our trademark triple soundtrack, to A2 licence holders across UK & Europe.”
The current Street Triple 765 R first arrived in dealerships in 2023, featuring engine upgrades derived directly from the Moto2TM race engine programme, which resulted in a significant step up in performance, with increased torque and improved responsiveness. With its aggressive styling, enhanced ergonomics and highest ever specification, this latest generation Street Triple 765 is performing well on the international stage.
ENHANCED ERGONOMICS
With its focused and commanding riding position, Moto2TM derived 765cc engine, gullwing swingarm and agile chassis, the Street Triple 765 R is an exciting ride for younger and newer riders, delivering the thrill of the performance naked sports set-up with a precise, predictable, confidence-inspiring ride. An accessory low seat is also available to offer shorter riders additional confidence, reducing the height by 28mm, from 826mm to 798mm.
HIGH SPECIFICATION
High-quality components include Brembo M4.32 4-piston radial monobloc calipers at the front and a Brembo single piston sliding caliper at the rear, as well as Showa 41mm upside down forks and a Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock RSU. Versatile Continental ContiRoad tyres, also offer superb levels of grip in both wet and dry road conditions, making the Street Triple 765 R the ideal choice for all-season commuting as well as fast road riding.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
For newer or younger riders, there’s plenty of advanced technology to help make the most of the Street Triple’s capability. With optimised cornering ABS included as standard, the Street Triple 765 R delivers accurate braking performance at any lean angle, plus the front-wheel lift control enhances control while feeling barely noticeable to the rider. Riders can fine-tune the bike’s performance with four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport and Rider-configurable, easily managed via the easy-to-read multi-functional instrument set-up and TFT display.
Fitted as standard, the up and down quickshifter is the ideal aid for track and fast road riding. Upshifts can be made without closing the throttle for a smooth, fast shift, while downshifts can be made without the use of the clutch and without the need to blip the throttle to match the gear and engine speeds, facilitating smooth and controlled deceleration into corners. In addition, the slip and assist clutch ensures a light and consistent lever feel for enhanced comfort, and control on the road, particularly useful during an urban commute.
SHARP, FOCUSED STYLE
The 15-litre fuel tank has integrated side panels with an angular design that aligns beautifully with the sharper radiator cowls, further complemented by a headlight finisher that also incorporates the air intake. The rear end of the new Street Triple is no less exceptional, with a sporty, upswept design to give a focused, nose-down attitude. The silencer adds to the Street Triple’s aggressive stance as well as accentuating the hair-raising Triumph triple soundtrack.
The Street Triple 765 R A2 variant will be available in two new colour schemes; a stylish Matt Baja Orange or a striking Pure White option. The first premium paint option features a Matt Baja Orange tank cover and matching headlight finisher and side panels, with a Matt Black front mudguard and radiator side panel. The Pure White scheme features Baja Orange accents on the Pure White tank cover and bodywork, plus a Pure White front mudguard and headlight finisher, complemented by a Storm Grey radiator side panel.
50+ ACCESSORIES
More than 50 Genuine Triumph Accessories are available, allowing owners to tailor their Street Triple to their needs, from fly screens to heated grips, pillion grab handles to luggage, there’s an accessory for every type of Street Triple rider.
ON THE ROAD
The new Street Triple 765 A2 variant will be available from £10,095 OTR, plus restrictor kit at £152.00 including VAT. Customers can configure their own or find out more at triumphmotorcycles.co.uk. Bikes will be arriving in dealerships from September 2024.

Harley-Davidson Announces Build Moto Sponsorship
Harley-Davidson, Inc. today announced their new sponsorship of BUILD Moto (“BUILD”) starting with the 2025 season.
Harley-Davidson has signed on as the new sponsor of BUILD Moto for the next three years. The sponsorship includes donated items like motorcycles, parts and accessories, as well as access to motorcycle manufacturing experts and additional support for program operations.
BUILD provides high school students an opportunity to learn technical skills including design, welding, fabrication, repair, machining, media, and more, through motorcycle construction. In addition to acquiring technical skills, teams also participate in marketing and fundraising efforts and host local events showcasing their work. BUILD program elements also emphasize the development of strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Teams of students from local high schools are organized to design and rebuild a motorcycle to American Motorcycle Association (AMA) flat track racing standards. Each team is matched with at least one faculty advisor from their school and up to three mentors who act as coaches and team leaders. Teams are required to document their progress with photos and videos posted to social media. Teams are judged on design, execution, and completion of milestones throughout the build timeline, culminating in a bike reveal and awards event at the end of the program.
The bike builders from the 2024 season also received a special invitation to show off their motorcycles at the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival opening ceremony at Davidson Park in Milwaukee on July 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
“Our involvement with BUILD Moto represents our commitment to STEAM learning and helping to teach the next generation of designers, engineers, and trades experts. Working with high schoolers who are empowered to create a bike that is race-ready is really rewarding. It’s a thrill to see their confidence grow during the build and showcase what they’ve learned as the pit crew on race day,” commented Shanna Beanan, STEAM Program Manager, Harley-Davidson.
BUILD is a 501(c)3 organization that operates through contributions from volunteer board members, mentors, faculty advisers, local businesses, volunteers, students, and parents. There are several ways to get involved.
- Become a mentor. By mentoring a team, you’ll be working directly with the students to build a motorcycle.
- Work a booth. Supplies are provided to host a BUILD booth at any event that reaches students and motorcycle enthusiasts to promote awareness of the program.
- Lend your expertise. As a subject matter expert, provide one-time assistance to teams on a specific skill, in-person or virtually.
- Volunteer at an event. Help with parking, selling merchandise, set up, and/or tear down.
