Welcome to The Power of ONE – your semi-regular spark of inspiration and impact.
Every day, we’re faced with countless choices—but sometimes, it’s that one decision that can shift everything. It might be something small, like waking up a bit earlier or taking a different route to work. The magic lies in not knowing when that single choice will be the one that changes it all.
I genuinely believe in the power of one moment, one word, or one action to create a ripple effect that transforms your life. The truth is, we don’t always see the impact right away—but that doesn’t make it any less real.
I’m here to share thoughts that might spark something for you—bring a little clarity, a little joy, or maybe even a big shift.
If any of this resonates, please pass it on. Let’s embrace the Power of ONE, and inspire change—one person, one moment at a time.
The Power of One: Change Your Attitude, Change Your Day
“Attitude is a skill. You can learn it. You can improve it. And when you do, it shapes your day, your week, your month—and your life.”
We often think of attitude as something we’re born with. Some people are just naturally positive, right? Maybe. But more importantly, attitude is not fixed. It’s a skill, just like public speaking, riding a dirt bike, or learning to sell. And that means it’s something you can build, improve, and rely on—especially when things get tough.
Attitude sets the tone for how you approach everything else. It’s the lens through which you see challenges, relationships, and opportunities. One shift in attitude can mean the difference between seeing an obstacle and seeing an opportunity.
So what if this week, you made one simple choice?
One Task – (OK maybe 2)
Train your attitude every morning.
- Morning Reframe
As soon as you wake up, ask:
“How do I want to show up today?”
Write down or say one attitude you want to carry: calm, confident, focused, curious, energetic. Pick ONE. - Interrupt Negativity
When you catch yourself spiraling into negativity or frustration, pause, shift, reframe. You’re not ignoring the problem—you’re just refusing to be ruled by it.
Because your attitude is your foundation. When that’s strong, everything else—discipline, performance, relationships—has a better shot at success. This isn’t toxic positivity. It’s practical control. Life throws curveballs. You can’t change that. But your response? That’s in your hands. Every. Single. Day.
Remember: You don’t need to fix your whole life in one shot. Just adjust your attitude today. That’s the power of one.
“The remarkable thing is, we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.”
— Charles R. Swindoll
