Wow – it’s been a minute.
Welcome to The Power of ONE — or at least the current version of it.
We make a ton of decisions every day. Most of them feel pretty normal. Nothing special. Easy to forget.
But every now and then, one of those small choices ends up meaning way more than you expected.
Maybe it’s getting up a little earlier.
Maybe it’s sending the message.
Maybe it’s taking a different route.
Maybe it’s just saying yes… or no.
The tricky part is, you never really know in the moment which one’s going to matter.
I really do believe that one moment, one word, or one action can create a ripple you didn’t see coming. You might not notice it right away — most of the time you won’t — but it’s happening.
If this hits, great. If it makes you pause for a second or look at something a little differently, even better. And if it resonates, please pass it along.
Because sometimes all it takes is one idea, at the right time, for the right person.
That’s the Power of ONE.
ONE QUOTE
“Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it — every, every minute?”
Thornton Wilder
ONE QUESTION
Do we truly appreciate life as we are living it—every ordinary moment, every conversation, and every person who matters?
ONE ANSWER
Probably not. Most of us are too busy thinking about what’s next. It is our fear of missing out on something. We move through the day without realizing that some of the moments we barely notice may become the ones we miss the most.
It might be a conversation with a parent, dinner with family, laughing with friends, or a regular day sitting in the yard. At the time, it doesn’t feel important. It’s just life. But years later, those ordinary moments are often the ones we wish we could experience again.
We’re never going to appreciate every minute, but we can slow down once in a while. Put the phone away. Listen a little more closely. Tell people what they mean to us.
Sometimes the best moments of our lives don’t feel special until they’re gone.
